About Richard Phillips
Richard serves as Special Counsel with a focus on car accidents. He brings 18 years of active police service and extensive emergency response experience to his legal work, giving him a perspective on crash investigation and injury incidents that few attorneys can match.
Since 2007, Richard has volunteered as a firefighter and paramedic with the East Amherst Fire Department, responding to thousands of crash investigations and injury incidents throughout Western New York. He received the Mitchell Spoth Chief’s Award for Firefighter of the Year and a Merit Award from the Police Department, both in 2019. He was named to Buffalo Business First’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 and serves as in-house counsel on the Fire Department board.
