About Joe Nicastro
Joe worked as a professional house painter throughout college alongside his father and brothers. That background gave him a firsthand understanding of how a construction site operates — and the workers who sacrifice their bodies and risk their lives every day. He now focuses his practice on helping clients recover from negligence-related injuries and has secured millions in settlements.
Joe earned the James M. Kieffer Trial Excellence Award — the highest trial advocacy award at SUNY Buffalo Law School — and is the only student in the school’s history to receive a perfect score on a trial technique evaluation. He led his law school trial team to the finals of the James Johnson ’49 National Civil Rights Trial Competition.
Beyond the law, Joe is a professional musician who won an international battle of the bands in 2010 and performed with Paul McCartney at Hyde Park, England. He is co-founder of Against the Storm Foundation, Inc., which supports blood cancer research and community health.
